Happy 4th of July!

Independence Day, TODAY!

A few years ago family and friends got together to celebrate The 4th.  We had such a nice time barbecuing, canoeing, and S'mores making, that an idea was born. Why couldn’t Aspen and Eva (Characters in the Montana Friends Adventure Book series) celebrate The 4th of July? It made me question the essence of the holiday. What was The 4th of July really about? Originally the holiday was to celebrate The United State’s Independence from Britain, but over time it has also become a community summer celebration of family, food and friends; It’s become a time to air our patriotic roots and be thankful we live “In the land of the free and the home of the brave”.

I present “The Best 4th of July”, Montana Friends Adventure Book 4.

Fun fireworks. Check. Parade. Check. Fried chicken. Check. Everything you need to have a great 4th of July. At least that’s what Aspen thinks. Aspen and Eva are about to have the best 4th of July yet.

How do you celebrate The 4th of July?
